Baltimore, boarding the Carnival Pride April 29th

Just arrived

We spent most of our time in the pools or on the beach

There were four hot tubs on the ship, three pools and a water slide.

Captains Dinner

Food

I feel like we ate a lot.  Though we were in the dinning room a lot, we had full access to the 24 hour buffet which included pizza and ice cream.  Gerald is by the boys.  He called them Sir Tom, Sir Devon and Sir Connor.  He works 11 to 13 hour days on the ship for seven months straight without a day off.

This is for my dad...check out the size of the catamaran

Turk & Caicos Islands

We walked off the ship at Grand Turk and went to our excursion on a small boat that took us to Gibbs Bay where we got in the water and swam with the Sting Rays.  We held them and they are slimy on the bottom.  Connor even had one kiss him.  You have to leave the eyes in the water.  Tom and Devon kissed the sting tail.  Tom and Devon also fed them fish heads and it looked easy even though their mouths are flat and on the other side of their body.  Connor tried to feed one and not only did it suction onto his hand, it bit him.  It actually looked pretty painful.  After we tried to stop the bleeding, we put him back in the ocean to snorkel....as bait so we could see a shark.  We followed our guide to the different coral reefs.  We also dove down and brought back up conch.  After which our guide taught us how to take one from their shell and eat it raw.  We all tried it.   After our three hours of fun, we went back to Grand Turk and spent the rest of the afternoon snorkeling by a 200 ft drop off and seeing many beautiful fish.

Random

We thought that Connor would find many friends to hang out with and that Devon would need a little additional entertaining, however, Devon had a huge group of guys that he hung out with every chance he got.  There was a mini golf and a basketball court on the top of the ship that the boys spent a lot of time at.  Here is Devon in action...he knew the name of almost every teenage girl on the ship...

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas

We left the ship and took a boat to Half Moon Cay, Bahamas.  It was beautiful.  We spent time on the beach and at Margarittaville at the pool.  There was horses on the beach across the way.  What are pictures do not show is the baracuda that we found under water while snorkeling.  We spent about 45 minutes underwater swiming while he left our area.  There were all kinds of fish.
